David Nissle, founder of Aviation Pathway Australia
David Nissle · CASA B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

David Nissle is a CASA B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with more than 13 years of international aviation experience.

After beginning his career as an electrician, David moved into aviation through Airbus and worked across the NH90, Eurofighter Typhoon and Tiger helicopter programmes in Germany, France and Italy.

After relocating to Australia, he completed the Australian Aeroskills and CASA licensing pathway, worked in base maintenance with Qantas Engineering and now works in commercial line maintenance in Brisbane.

Aviation Pathway Australia was created to give overseas aircraft-maintenance professionals the clear, practical and honest plan David would have valued before making the move himself.
